Specialisations

My specialisations centre about;

• providing a trusting relationship in a one to one situation
• improving a student's school experience, academically or emotionally
• providing opportunities for a student to be listened to and to have a good laugh
• help students recognise learning or behavioural barriers
• support them to overcome these barriers by setting up plans on how to do this
• help students to increase their persistence
• provide learning support in the skills of reading, spelling, numeracy and essay writing
• introduce practical ways to improve friendships and peer acceptance
• provide organisational support
• offer homework help
• offer social skills/friendship training to children and young teens - 'What’s the Buzz?'
